Show us where you live
I assume there's something psychological you're actually looking for here. I suppose I could even give you a very interesting response that would give you hours of entertainment analyzing me. However, I'm really just not interested in doing that right now.
Ignoring, of course, the fact that by answering in this manner, I've already given you enough material to start a lovely case study. Believe me, I know how it works. I've been on the other side of this fence for years.
So. Show you where I live. It's a state-of-the-art medical facility housed in the headquarters of a company that shall remain nameless.
It's quite nice, as hospitals and medical facilities go; at least for the people who actually work here. The labs are very clean and have the most modern equipment money can buy. The fellow in charge has a... golden touch, you might say.
The guests have private rooms -- well, single-occupancy rooms would be more accurate, because any privacy we have is nothing but an illusion. Even those of us who do not have observation windows are monitored around the clock. That's just the way things go at the Company.
The rooms are clean, impersonal, and the beds are too damned small. Not that I'd be bringing anyone into mine without some way to shut off the monitors. Or at least the ones connected to the recording devices.
To be honest -- and I know there are those of you out there quite capable of reading between the lines -- the place could actually do with some renovations...
